Efront is a leading global software editor for the Alternative Investment industry.

Front Invest Continental Europe (FICE) is a efront business unit in charge of performing implementation services for efront solutions, in Europe and Africa.

Why efront called us

Efront called us to manage the transition between the resignation of the FICE Service Delivery Manager and the hiring of his replacement. This position being strategic for the company, the new manager was to be picked very carefully, and his hiring process was expected to last as much as a year.

Our mission

There were two aspects in our mission.

The first one was to perform business as usual. Specifically, we:

  • managed a team of fifteen international consultants, and a portfolio of twenty eight projects
  • participated in steering committees with assets managers and private equity professionals located in nine countries and two continents,
  • supported the sales team in their answers to international RFPs, and won key proposal
  • recruited new staff

In the second aspect of our mission, we contributed to efront’s development by using our experience in the IT service industry and significantly upgraded FICE professional practices.  To that effect, we:

  • introduced new methodologies
  • developed the project manager know how by giving them new tools and approaches, and actively coaching them during the project key phases:
    • Kick-off
    • Steering committees
    • Renegotiations and change management
    • Closing
  • Developed quantitative quotation rules in order to better guide the salesforce in the bidding process
  • Launched technical forums
  • Organized and formalized inputs to product marketing

Most of these upgrades stayed in place long after we concluded our mission.
